Table Setting - Inspiration

Midsummer celebrations - daisies at the center together with some elderflowers create a harmonic floral setting. A traditional Swedish funnel cake, layered with jam and topped with whipped cream and strawberries brings the right flavour, paired with Champagne and coffee of course.

The natural lighting brings harmony to the room and gives the setting life by adding colors to each individual element. Midsummer is a tradition that is well attuned to the rhythms of nature. Flower wreaths, dancing and a sun that never sets paired with birches in full, shimmering bloom.

Midsummer is normally an occasion of large gatherings − in many cases, whole families gather to celebrate the tradition, dressing and raising the maypole in an open spot followed by traditional ring-dances, to the delight the children accompanied by cheerful adults.

Midsummer Eve is always celebrated on a Friday between 19 and 25 June. People often begin the day by picking flowers and making wreaths to place on the maypole, which is a key component in the celebrations.
